Lifetime fitness is what make a life worth living every moment.
A lot of things have been said and done to help people get fit, still a majority of the world’s population is living a unhealthy lifestyle, consuming all the junk food promoted by big corporations and getting obese in return. Fast life, fast foods, lack of time, multitasking always takes a toll on a human body. Our body is amazingly adaptive to what ever you put it through. An athlete’s body would have more endurance, a weight lifter would have a powerful body, in the same way a person who does’nt do any physical activity would have problems related to health because it is not used to any physical effort.
Fitness comes down to adapting your body to new levels of activity. At first it may seem like a big effort in itself but slowly when we get used to it, everything seems easy. So it needs some concentrated effort to get fit. Getting out of comfort zone is the biggest challenge.
There are 3 essentials of getting fit.
1) It’s directly related to amount of efforts you put in terms of actions and their consistency. Of course the right techniques are an important part of your actions. There are no short cuts; you don’t get the results overnight. Consistency and willpower is the key
2) Take up some exercise, even if it takes some serious efforts on your part. If you are new, start with something light and easy and then be progressive. You could start up at gym or home or even take up your favorite sport if it has a good physical activity involved.
3) Take care of your diet. Exercise alone can help to a certain extent; a good diet compliments your exercise according to your goals you want to achieve. Avoid junk food, aerated drinks, too sweet or spicy stuff. Stick to natural as much as possible.
